This presentation will offer a preview of the K-12 NSQ-Aligned Teaching Online Certificate Series, developed by Quality Matters. The series is available to Wyoming educators for free through an agreement between WDE and QM. This series of five workshops transforms the NSQ Standards into practical classroom strategies. The workshops include evidence-based approaches that elevate student engagement and achievement in online environments while providing resources that help educators apply these standards in their daily teaching practice.

Mental health and wellness is an important part of all educators lives, whether the educator is a teacher, paraprofessional, administrator, related service provided and student. Self-care builds resilience for all. We all have needs that impact our daily lives and practicing mental health and wellness through Maslow's hierarchy of needs is an essential starting point for building not only the foundation of basic needs to fulfilling needs at the highest level of connecting to something greater than oneself. This session takes a look at each of the six needs and provides research-based and easy to implement strategies for living a need filled life at each level of the hierarchy to stabilize our lives to be our ultimate best self.
