For the past 18 years, I’ve lived in Rawlins, Wyoming.Throughout that time, I’ve dedicated myself to education, growth, and building strong relationships with students and families. My journey began as a one-on-one SPED paraprofessional while earning my teaching degree—an experience that sparked my passion for inclusive education and laid the foundation for everything that’s followed.
I spent five years as a 3rd grade teacher before transitioning into the role of a middle school ESL teacher, where I’ve spent the last six years supporting multilingual learners and advocating for equitable access to academic success. In the upcoming school year, I will begin a new chapter as a Middle School Assistant Principal—excited and humbled by the opportunity to lead, learn, and grow in a new way.
I love visiting family in Denver and Mexico whenever possible and hold a deep appreciation for the cultural richness and connection those visits bring. At the heart of everything I do is a belief that all students deserve equitable opportunities to succeed—and I’m committed to making that a reality, every day, in every role I serve.
