Research Quest, digital investigations created by the Natural History Museum of Utah, were developed in 2013 as a way to encourage critical thinking among students in the middle grades. With funding from the National Science Foundation, the STEM Action Center, and many private donors, these investigations have become a wonderful addition to science curriculum in a way that engages students in real research and thoughtful analysis. Each of the 14 investigations is completely free and turnkey for teachers to use. In the years ahead, the museum is excited to share the word about these investigations with the hopes of building interest and support for even more investigations.
